Solidarity Hub Sofia

About the Project
Solidarity Hub Sofia is a project under the European Solidarity Corps, created to bring together current and former participants in the Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps programmes in Sofia and to create a space for meetings, exchange and joint initiatives.
The project runs from April 2026 to March 2027 and promotes social inclusion, intercultural exchange, volunteering and the active participation of young people in the local community.
Monthly Activities
Throughout the year, Solidarity Hub Sofia offers a diverse programme of meetings and initiatives that encourage connection, creativity and active participation. Each month, participants take part in different activities – from intercultural evenings, board games and poetry to art workshops, a treasure hunt in Sofia, dance evenings and theatre activities. The project also includes community and environmentally focused initiatives, such as clean-up actions, as well as visits to family-type accommodation centres, where young people organise language games, activities and shared experiences.
All these activities aim to create a space for new friendships, cultural exchange and the sharing of experiences and ideas, while giving participants opportunities to develop their skills and become active members of the local community.

A Community That Stays
The main goal of Solidarity Hub Sofia is to create an active and sustainable community of people connected through Erasmus+ and the European Solidarity Corps. The project encourages participants not only to join activities, but also to create their own initiatives, share their knowledge and continue taking part in solidarity and community activities.
At the end of the project, its results, stories and lessons learned will be collected in the “Solidarity Hub Sofia” booklet, which will be available online and serve as a source of inspiration and a resource for other young people and organisations.
