European Projects in School: From Idea to Funding

This training is intended for teachers and school teams who do not wish to be merely implementers of externally imposed educational policies, but active creators of development opportunities for their school through European programs. The course is aimed at education professionals who believe that international cooperation, student mobility, and project-based learning can enhance the quality of school education and open new horizons for students and teachers.
The training focuses on the Erasmus+ programs (KA1 and KA2) and the European Solidarity Corps, which offer real opportunities for school partnerships, volunteer initiatives, student mobilities, and the professional development of teaching staff. At the core of the course is the development of practical skills for designing, applying for, and managing European projects tailored to the specific needs and context of the school community.
METHODOLOGY
Methodologically, the training is based on learning through practice and experience. Theoretical frameworks are combined with work on real project ideas, group and individual tasks, analysis of established good practices, and simulations of the project application process. Participants work with European platforms such as eTwinning and the European School Education Platform, develop skills for finding international partners, and receive guidance from experts with hands-on experience in managing approved projects.
Throughout the training, participants develop the ability to independently identify suitable funding opportunities and to structure a project proposal—from analyzing school needs to planning specific activities, results, and sustainability. Special attention is given to implementation requirements, reporting, monitoring, and the dissemination and multiplication of results, ensuring that projects have a long-term impact on the school environment.
TRAINING OUTCOMES
By the end of the course, each participant will have:

a developed project concept, ready for further development and submission
